Shopify or custom?
Shopify for 80% of DTC stores under $50M GMV. Shopify Plus when you need scripts, B2B, or higher API limits. Custom or headless only when the constraints are real — not because someone read a thought-leader post about platform limits.
Headless — when is it actually worth it?
When the storefront has unique UX requirements (configurators, content-heavy editorial), the team has Next.js capability, and the additional complexity pays for itself. Otherwise stick with the native theme.
Can you migrate us off WooCommerce / Magento?
Yes. We have done WooCommerce → Shopify and Magento → Shopify Plus migrations. Catalog, orders, customers, redirects, SEO carryover all included.
